Two Parallel Tracks

Sitting by the window,
Landscapes scrape by,
As I watch;
Helplessly:
Two parallel tracks never to meet…

Known origins,
Unknown Destinations,
Friction causing temporary sparks,
Happiness; pain and agony: only transitory,
This journey will be on tracks for eternity.

WE are Aliens to this paradise,
Our journey,
Shrouded in mystery,
Navigating through eternal Cosmos,
Seeking: As we steer through uncertainty.

Sitting by the window,
Landscapes scrape by,
As I watch;
Helplessly:
Two parallel tracks never to meet…

As I sit and write,
I take twists and turns;
Ups and downs, in my stride,
Slithering over the difficult terrains
I let the sun kiss my soul, releasing me from night’s caress

Leaving the whispers reverberating across,
The corridors of past behind,
Riding on the train to nowhere,
Crossing breathtaking bridges,
Overcoming the obstacles: a wandering lone traveler I move on….

Sitting by the window,
Landscapes scrape by,
As I watch;
Helplessly:
Two parallel tracks never to meet…

Racing a hundred miles an hour,
Steel wheels rattling along the rails,
I can see them both; torn by love,
Separated by miles,
Going through the journey of life

Borrowing warmth from each other,
A photo. A message. A call.
Are enough to sustain; in these moments of longing,
For their love is not frail,
Waiting for each other since eternity.

Sitting by the window,
Landscapes scrape by,
As I watch;
Helplessly:
Two parallel tracks never to meet…
