I was nominated by profound wordsmith PrashantT for this challenge today. He has among one of the best and versatile travel blog, and I really enjoy going through them. Learning about new places about which we don’t know is a treat in itself. Visit his blog for amazing reads. Before I proceed further I’ll share a little info on Ganesh Chaturthi.
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as birth anniversary of Lord Ganesh. On this day, Lord Ganesh, is worshipped as the God of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. It is believed that Lord Ganesh was born during Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Currently Ganesh Chaturthi day falls in month of August or September in English calendar.
The Ganeshotsav, the festivity of Ganesh Chaturthi, ends after 10 days on Anant Chaturdashi which is also known as Ganesh Visarjan day. On Anant Chaturdashi, devotees immerse idol of Lord Ganesh, in water body after a gala street procession.
My initial quotes are dedicated to Lord Ganesha followed by quotes from my pen so here are my quote for Day 2.
All my fellow bloggers have been very supportive and patient in reading my blog posts, which I always start thinking I’ll write only a few lines…. and then somehow it goes on in stanzas…
So here is my quote for Day 2 followed by the rules of this challenge.
“When the shadows paint the world around you,
When you’re falling,
When you’re sinking,
You are the same sperm,
That won the battle of survival years ago.”
If you could win a battle then, then you can surely do it many times again. don’t let negativity get to you. Get up. Stand up. Remember you’re alive for a purpose….
