Trapped In a Sea Of Hatred

Nuclear warheads;
Terror of trenches;
The futility of war.
Brutality; suffering.
Destruction and sadness.
Blood flowing, eyes eschew.

*

As I glance along the path the world travels,
It seems so narrow now,
But at the time it seemed the only way.
I realize; Despite our desires,
We are living our lives on the edge,
Balancing on a wire.

*

Forever striving to guard our borders
A pressure; building worldwide.
Growing; pulsing; ticking like a clock.
Howling winds capture the heart of many lost souls.
Wandering the wilderness; patrolling.
Lost in a violent world that had just been created.

*

Truth; he doesn’t know when it’ll start, how it’ll end.
All that was clear,
That a place that he longed for,
Wasn’t this one.
Journey to discover peace lies deep within.
Hold on…!! The time has come to breakthrough your dreams.

*

A day will be seen where the world cannot,
Picture what it would be like,
To exist without peace.
Don’t let the harsh voices of politicians’, clergies and priests
Drown out the soft
Whispering spirit of peace…
