Look Back and Smile

Feelings
Emotions
Many we know
Some we can feel
Loneliness. Anxiety. Love. Hate…
And all that it brings; but, only a few we understand.

*

Sometime, somewhere,
Journeying through your life
You happen to chance upon
That One amongst the millions
Without whom life feels empty
And all the shades are as good as grey.

*

When you stare into those eyes
You’ll see a paradise that you’ve never seen before.
Realise: there’s much more to life than money.
A million little pieces of laughter and dreams,
Of broken memories forged together,
By listened to stories and worn photos.

*

I hope one day you’ll look back and smile.
