Have a say: Ananya, The Verbal Seduction

Always choose to slay this world via what you think expressed in the form of kind words;
Because, to have an opinion or to take a stand is to flaunt an identity,
is to carry a special personality.
Just never choose to stay quiet and let your thoughts choke and die in there.

They may be right.
But dear, you are not wrong either.
For, when ‘viewpoint’ is considered;
Your cap must have that feather.

The opinion made;
won’t be embraced by all.
The stance you take;
May even lead to a brawl.

But don’t let it make you weak.
‘Cause oppositions will come and go.
Accept the contrast in views gracefully.
But save yourself from considering ‘em as ‘foe’.

Do think twice;
Before concluding.
Be thoroughly wise.
There’s no withdrawing.

Think a thousand thoughts, I’ll suggest;
So that you’re prepared for the counterattacks.
You can’t afford to be absolutely erroneous;
Cause if proven wrong, it’ll leave you with deep cracks.

Not to say;
Be right all the time.
A li’l true, a li’l flawed;
Will do no crime.

Just when you have a li’l more pensive thought;
And an expression of it with no delay.
In the midst of all the perspectives;
Yours will get a better chance to slay.

A ‘say’ is must;
For you to manifest.
Viewpoint’s a requisite;
It shall not be the best.

What is of prime importance is-
Is to have an outlook with unadulterated views.
Not for the world but for your own self;
To turn your sinking boat of thoughts into a rich cruise.

To own an opinion;
Is to hold a personality.
To utter it with grace;
Has its own beauty.

But dare you become adamant;
Refusing to listen to what others have to claim.
Be a little ductile about your views.
‘Cause being stiff-necked is way too lame.

Arguments are fine.
Discussions are better.
When one listens to the other
Reasoning turns less bitter.

Our guest today is a writer, a mere woman from India (as she calls herself, though I personally differ on this opinion) running in her 20’s.
Being called woman just sounds sexy but the ‘girl’ traits exist more in her.
She happens to aspire success and that feeling of contentment, both at the same time via ‘Words’. Has an ongoing affair with books, which sometimes leaves her perplexed for some reason, every time. Jotting down the raw thoughts is what brings her chaotic soul to peace and which is what brings her here (her love for writing).
अनन्या शर्मा| They call her‘Annie’… ❤ My chat with Annie, was most enjoyable. I am confident you will enjoy it too.

RNG: Good morning Ananya, it’s great to be chatting with you here, you are an excellent wordsmith and can comfortably write in both Hindi and English languages so when did you first realise you wanted to be a writer?

ANANYA: I was always into books (novels) –romantic reads, specifically. I escalated quite quickly from Chetan Bhagat to John Green and Paulo Coelho. The words written in their novels always left me wonderstruck. Though this feeling came up mixed with positive enviousness, too! It lit a fire in me to write. To write what others can feel the deepest.

And then, a few months ago, a phase came in my life when I began to crave seclusion.
I started to hate talking to people. Maybe it was just me; realising that there’s no one to listen to your heart (with no intention of seeking sympathy).

“But I knew –words were. Words were dying to know my story. Words were dying to get scribbled by me on the paper to know it all. The only difference that still exists is that the keyboard exchanged paper. Just technology.”

 And thanks to that phase, it brought me here.
And it is the best thing that has happened to me.

RNG: Great, I love reading you work. How long does it take you to write a poem/article?

ANANYA: If I go for verses than it takes me good 1-1.5 hours. And a normal poem takes hardly 30 minutes. ‘Cause you see, the feelings go with the flow, as naturally as water does.

RNG: What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?

ANANYA: Nights are meant for writers, aren’t they?

I hear nothing except my own breaths.
As if, I’m surrounded by thousands of deaths.
With a li’l effort, I can hear my heartbeats, too.
It’s 2 a.m. & I’ve begun to jot a thousand thoughts or maybe just a few.

RNG: Nights are meant for writers” I agree with that 100%. It happens with me too. Words jump around in my head when I lay down to sleep like kindergarten kids who flock their teacher the moment she decides to sit down.  Coming on to my next question, What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

ANANYA: My quirk is a little “out-of-self-control” quirk and by out of self-control what I mean is that –I have sheer love for poetry, for the rhyming endings. So, even If I plan to craft a normal poem without rhyming words, I somehow, helplessly fail to do so. I ultimately convert it into a verse. I don’t even know if it’s a quirk or not.

RNG: What is your motivation factor?

ANANYA: You may anticipate that I have a wrong perception but I think motivation is for them who are not much and deep into what they do. I just simply love to jot down the feelings. If that’s what you call motivation then ‘my love for scribbling’ is simply my motivation factor.

RNG: When did you write your first poem/article and how old were you?

ANANYA:
It was real late. I wrote it at the back of my rough notebook when I was in 11 Std.

RNG: How many poems/articles have you written till now? Can you share a few links of your favourite articles or a few lines of a poem close to your heart with our readers?

ANANYA: Honestly, I don’t have a count. It definitely doesn’t mean that I’ve written many. I just never counted.

Here’s a slight suggestion by a fellow blogger, J.Winston-*GRIEVE, FULLY* . I reblogged it also. I think it the best thing I’ve read lately.
And a few lines from ‘Enforced Ego-centrism’ by me.

The reason for which I preferred to share this is because I know many who are doing everything they can just to make someone else smile. And that someone doesn’t care to look at their pains at all. These lines are for those people:

They are not the one’s to rely on.
They don’t deserve any solace from you.
Stop making them feel better,
Focus on enriching your own brew.

‘Cause you’ll die making them smile.
If they can’t see the soul dying in you,
They don’t deserve your pearl like words
‘Cause I can’t see them stepping in your shoe.

RNG: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

ANANYA: I love to watch some web series. And of course, to do all the wonderings about life along with slight introspection while sipping hot coffee.

RNG: Would you like to consider publishing your work in form of a book in the near future?

ANANYA: My dream is to become a writer and to have my own novel. Many Novels.

RNG: Do you have any suggestions to help the people reading your interview become a better writer? If so, what are they?

ANANYA: Just make sure that whatever you write comes pouring out from your pious heart. Rest all will be taken care of.

RNG: It’s been great chatting with you Ananya. I hope the readers enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed conducting it. Hope to see you frequent my guest post in future also and all my best wishes for your future.

ANANYA: Ranjeeta Ma’am, I cannot thank you enough for inviting me for this amazing guest interview. I felt deep pleasure in answering all these questions asked by you. And I must admit, it is very divine of you to give such a wonderful opportunity to all the naïve bloggers like me and others. You being an established one and then to deciding to promote others make me feel very happy. I hope for you to be happy always.
Quoting it with; “Never forget to step in their shoes”.

    1. thanks luv. the idea behind guest post is to showcase bloggers. we all write and write reasonably well but the sad part is that e don’t know each other thus cannot enjoy and learn enough. this idea of guest post with an interview is a win-win opportunity for all.
