Simply Complicated

There is no room for simple pleasures,
In our lives
No room for error
No chasing after rainbows like a rebel
Only outraged emotions
When does this madness end?
We may never know.

In this moment now
Which we know as ‘today’
From simple and humble
We have all come a long way
Living our lives
Through regrets and through sins
Love is the most perplexing and unobtainable thing.

Either it is true, or it’s a lie.
Either you love somebody or you are indifferent.
Either you feel it or you don’t.
Either you can shout or you whisper.
Either you are talking or you are arguing.
But sometimes being simple
Is too complicated.
