To Dig Up Knowledge, You Have To Dig Around

To Dig Up Knowledge, You Have To Dig Around

Sweating students;
Anxious parents;
Invigilating teachers
Clinking of pencil boxes,
Scratching of quills,
Rustling of paper,
Mindless pouring out of knowledge.

***

Students write, scribble and scrawl,
In the solemn air of the exam hall; brain dead they are.
Diarrhea of all sorts spilling onto papers.
Doodling with numbers,
And complexities of their vocabulary.
Combating more and more of that useless knowledge,
We would probably never use.

***

Too many problems, yet very lil’ solutions
It’s like stepping into a field of mines.
Suffocated; imprisoned by the tension,
Paperworks and all the lessons.
Tests doesn’t teach us how to be a good person.
How to survive on our own; or cope with beasty bullies..
Brainpower cannot be measured by grades or exam performance.

***

Delicacy. Perception. Precision.
Clarity of insight,
Being a good judge of character.
Exhibiting an understanding beyond thought,
Having an aptitude with words; empathy to emotions.
Knowing how to comfort, to console.
Signify the intricate beauty of the mind.

….intelligence is sensitive, having certain elegance.
It’s knowing, but not saying.
