Guest Post: Leanna Hamilton, To Trust Is To Be Courageous

Guest Post To trust is to be courageous

To Trust Is To Be Courageous

To trust is to be courageous because
You are being brave,
You are putting your heart, mind and soul on the line.
When deep down you know that your trust might be betrayed.
You are trusting yourself enough to allow yourself to trust someone.
You trust someone not because you want someone to trust,
But because you trust yourself enough to trust another.

Leanna Hamilton

My name is Leanna Hamilton and writing is my life. I live for it, I breathe in it. Writing gives me a sense of home and warmth. I love being a good steward, makes me feel overjoyed and I love guiding people in the way they need guiding. 12th of January is my day.

RNG: Good morning Leanna, it’s great to be chatting with you here, could you start by telling us a bit about yourself? 🙂

LH: Hello my name is Leanna Hamilton, I’m 15 years old and I love reading and writing everything. All my poems, quotes and stories, everything that I write is based on my life.

RNG: You are an excellent wordsmith. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

LH: I realized that I’d love to be a writer when I was 5 years old and I’d still love to be one.

RNG: Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts/writings?

LH: The inspiration comes from everything that has happened in my life, or the fantasies I dream of having.

RNG: What is your motivating factor?

LH: For a normal person it’d be someone, but for me it is because I’d love to be a better person so I write my life story so some might feel the need to give me a few inspirational lines and also because I love helping people, bringing out the best in them and helping them see the light.

RNG: How long does it take you to write a poem/article?

LH: Two minutes at most if that much.

RNG: What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?

LH: (If you are talking about normally and not being a publisher then…) Whenever I have the time.(Which between me and you isn’t as much as I’d want it to be.)

RNG: What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

LH: With reference to my eyebrow. (Makes me feel nice, ya know)

RNG: How many poems/articles have you written till now? Can you share a few lines of your favourite articles or a poem close to your heart with our readers? (If you are not a blogger then you can share your poems/quotes)

LH: My poem Am I Selfish

Am I selfish
For wanting to be
Her number one star.
Am I selfish
For wanting her
To notice me just once.
Is it too much to ask
That she notices me for once.
That I can shine brightly.
Like the brightest star, there is
To ever shine.
I don’t want
To just be a star.
I want to be
Her star.

RNG: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

LH: Well I’m always writing, whether a song, poem or a story. But I have a feeling that if I am in a situation like that, I will definitely be reading.

RNG: Tell us about your most recent work and who inspired you?

LH: Unless my poem counts then I inspired myself…

Some people say
That they’re sparks when you touch some you love.
But is that really so,
Because for the first time I met you
And your arm brushed against mine.
My heart skipped a beat,
Sparks engulfed my body,
And my brain started to malfunction.
And I knew then,
That we were connected against the sparks.

RNG: What is your motto in life?

LH: Everyone can because they know they can, there is no room for failure.

RNG: According to you what are the top 3 factors that one has to keep in mind while trying to write a successful blog post/poem/story?

LH: The top 3 factors that one has to keep in mind while trying to write a successful blog post/poem/story should be

*That it should be from the heart. (There’s nothing better than a blog post/poem/story that is heartfelt.)
*It should make a person want to read more, keeping them on the tip of their toes. (Write something that everyone wants to read but at the same time adding your own part to it. Ya know :-))
*And I don’t know about you but I love a story, poem or blog post that has a little mystery or riddle to it.

RNG: You, I wish you all the best for fan following to grow further. Any special message or any suggestions you would like to share with your visitors/fans which you think would help them become a better writer?

LH: Don’t think about what to write, write what your heart and mind tells you. Write freely and be free. Because those are the poems, quotes and stories that are the best, the ones that you write from the heart.

RNG: It’s been great chatting with you YOU. I hope the readers enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed conducting it. Hope to see you frequent my guest post in future also and all my best wishes for your future.
