On Nature’s Trail

On Nature’s Trail,
Walking under the trees
Along the pathways
Walking through the fields
Reaching for the sunlight
Walking up the mountains with clouds
That descends into the valleys
The naughty breeze
Whispering into my ear
Every ray of sun
Kissing my cheeks gently
Crystal diamonds of the dew;
The divine delicate darlings,
That dissolves on touch,
Beautifully displayed on blades of grass.
As cold brisk air invades my lungs
I exhale, my breath visible in faint vapours
And I step over the fallen branches that lie there rotting.
I look back, at the hill I just descended
Wondering how the return will go…
