Living my life on my own terms and conditions, I've celebrated life at every given opportunity. Here I take the opportunity to share a few of my experiences in form of poems, short stories or articles.
Rumours; They tell me so many things That I don’t know about myself Things that I have supposedly done But are news to me. Tales that are at times surprisingly Hilarious or annoying. Altering the truth to fit their existence They are the weapons of the meek And people with a narrow mindset. Seldom good mostly cruel, Let these rumours Inside your mind And they shall possess you Your peace of mind Shall be a history then And the truth An ancient legend.

Colourful butterflies fluttering around. As the chilly breeze begins to blow Sun’s cheerful warm rays Calms the brazen chill and Returns a smile to awaken the senses Diluting the shades of grey in our lives.
Leaving my troubled day behind me I close my eyes to vision peacefulness Enjoying the music of the rustling leaves in breeze Mesmerised by moments of sublime simplicity Of natural beauty as yet unseen. I let the beauty of silence envelope me again.
Eyes closed; breathing slowed, Heart full with melody one finds only in silence. I am helpless to resist The calling of my inner voice As I tell myself “You got this far…didn’t you?” so relax.
For replacing towering trees with skyscrapers And soil with concrete. For arms and ammunition in the hands of children And children in wombs addicted to drugs. For every abused citizen of the country And every veteran fighting for his right In peace, I protest.
For every menacing bomb that replaces literature And takes away our freedom of speech. For every forceful government Whose policies leave us numb. For every farmer whose yield goes waste And inflation breaking his backbone driving him to suicide. In peace, I protest.
For every citizen continually fighting For the right to represent himself as an equal. For paid media creating a chaotic and a violent environment As they continually prove they are pawns to the system. For extreme consequences that nonconformity brings And disparities on the pretext of complexion, culture, and religious beliefs. In peace, I protest.
It’s time to speak up And protest against the laws That allow the violation of our human liberties And deterioration of our resources. It’s time to lead, and simply Be the change we want to see It’s time to protest in peace.
